Itinerary
Start from Guwahati to Kaziranga after being received by North East Explorers’ representative. If you arrive early in the morning, have your breakfast and then, start your drive through the plains of Assam dotted by random, small towns all along, to the Kaziranga National Park. Depending upon when you reach, you can visit the orchid – park for a cultural show.
You will be taken on an elephant safari ( on your own) (one hour) in the park before getting back to the hotel for breakfast. You can take a morning jeep safari (not included in the tariff) through the Central Range of the park. Kaziranga National Park is a heritage site and the oldest one in the state of Assam. This park is a natural biodiversity habitat on the banks of River Brahmaputra. You can spot the one-horned rhino and numerous other common and endangered animals and birds. Return to the hotel & have a peaceful stay at Kaziranga.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Guwahati Visit Kamakya Temple if time permit Later proceed to Guwahati airport/ railway station to catch your flight / train for your onwards journey.
